Hi P.J. I have a 205 and a 305 (got the 205 as a cheap backup when the price went down from the 405s coming out), both give me the same anomalies. From what I hear, the 405 is the same as far as satellite accuracy, just a different cosmetic design. I’m sure it depends on where you live - I just happen to live in an area that is pretty flaky that way.

Which model Garmin do you use? I have used the 201 and thought it was pretty good but I’ve heard it can’t compare to the newer models. I’ve also heard that the 405 has a lot of problems. Any thoughts?

Poo girl, if I ran 2 marathons within 3 weeks of each other and was going to Africa, I wouldn’t expect to get my mileage up either. Enjoy whatever you fit in, you deserve a long, slow recovery and a great trip, too!

OMG, loving all you guys being there!! Kai, what’s your bib? It looks like at around 6am there’ll be some forum gatherings at Rocky (Masters, MRT, etc) so I’ll be there. I really do want to meet all of you! How many chances would I have at this? So Kai and Lisa, Rocky, Rocky, Rocky!!! (I’m sure 1000 other people have the same idea, but it’s easy to find runners in a marathon haystack!)
